Do I put Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer on before or after foundation?
There isn’t one “right” order of applying makeup, but at Rare Beauty, we love to let our natural skin shine through so we recommend beginning with your Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation to see how much coverage it gives you. Then you can apply Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer just where you need it for additional coverage—this way, you can create full coverage just where you need it!

Should I use a Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer shade that’s lighter than my Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation shade?
That depends on what you want the concealer to do for you! Are you using it as an undereye brightener, to conceal a blemish, or to hide discoloration
+ To brighten the undereye area, we recommend 1-2 shades lighter than your Liquid Touch Foundation shade (in the same undertone if possible).
+ To conceal a red mark or blemish, try a Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer shade that’s the same shade as your Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation.
+ To camouflage discoloration, choose a Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer shade that’s slightly warmer than your skin tone to help color-correct any darkness.

Tips

Our foundations and concealers are a 1:1 match but depending on your needs, either choose your perfect match or pick a shade that's one shade lighter that complements your undertone.

To brighten the undereye:

Sweep the doe-foot applicator under the eye and blend out with a concealer brush, sponge or fingertips.

To conceal and correct dark circles:

Choose your natural shade of concealer to diffuse the look of discoloration.

Next, apply a concealer one to two shades lighter to brighten. This will create radiance without looking shallow or dull.

To conceal a blemish:

Choose your natural shade of concealer and apply over blemish. Let the concealer sit on the skin for 0:30 seconds then diffuse the edges.
