Rare Beauty Pro Artist Terms & Conditions

The Rare Beauty Pro Artist Program (the “Program”) is offered by Rare Beauty, LLC. (“Rare Beauty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Program provides qualified beauty professionals with access to certain exclusive benefits, including potential discounts on Rare Beauty products.
By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Pro Program Terms & Conditions (the “Program Terms”), as well as Rare Beauty’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced on our website. If there is a conflict between these Program Terms and the Terms of Service, these Program Terms will govern with respect to the Program.
Rare Beauty reserves the right to interpret, modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time in its sole discretion.
1. Eligibility
The Program is intended for qualified beauty professionals including but not limited to:

Professional makeup artists

Beauty industry professionals working in film, television, theater, editorial, or bridal

Students currently enrolled in accredited cosmetology or makeup artistry programs
To be eligible, applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction

Submit a completed application through Rare Beauty’s designated application process

Provide valid documentation verifying professional status or student enrollment
-
Maintain an active Rare Beauty account
Examples of acceptable documentation may include:

Professional portfolio or website
-
Industry union or agency membership
-
Professional social media accounts demonstrating work
-
Makeup school enrollment documentation
-
Professional license or certification (where applicable)
Rare Beauty reserves the right to approve or deny applications at its sole discretion.
Businesses, agencies, retailers, distributors, and resellers are not eligible for participation.
2. Application and Approval
Applicants must complete the Rare Beauty Makeup Artist Program application form and submit required documentation.
Rare Beauty may:

Request additional verification or documentation

Review application materials for authenticity

Approve or deny applications at its discretion
Acceptance into the Program is not guaranteed and may be revoked if eligibility requirements are no longer satisfied.
3. Program Benefits
Approved Program members (“Members”) may receive access to certain benefits, which may include:

A professional discount on select Rare Beauty products

Early access to product launches or professional resources

Invitations to educational or brand events

Other exclusive opportunities offered by Rare Beauty
Program benefits:

Are non-transferable
-
May be limited to certain products or categories

May be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time
Discount eligibility, discount percentages, and applicable products are determined solely by Rare Beauty.
Benefits apply only to purchases made through Rare Beauty’s official website or other authorized Rare Beauty channels.
4. Personal and Professional Use Only
Products purchased using the Makeup Artist Program discount are intended solely for the personal or professional use of the Member.
Members may not:

Resell Rare Beauty products purchased through the Program

Purchase products for resale, distribution, or commercial resale purposes

Share their Pro Program discount or account access with others

Purchase products on behalf of retailers, distributors, or third parties
Any attempt to resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit products purchased through the Program is strictly prohibited.
Rare Beauty reserves the right to terminate membership and cancel related orders if such activity is suspected.
5. Purchase Limits
Rare Beauty may impose purchase limits or quantity restrictions on Program orders.
Rare Beauty may, in its sole discretion:

Limit the number of items purchased per order

Limit the number of purchases within a certain period

Cancel orders that exceed reasonable professional use quantities
Orders determined to violate Program policies may be canceled or refused.
6. Monitoring and Abuse Prevention
Rare Beauty reserves the right to monitor Program activity to ensure compliance with these Program Terms.
Examples of prohibited activity include:

Excessive purchasing inconsistent with professional use

Use of the Program for resale or distribution

Fraudulent or misleading eligibility documentation

Abuse of discount privileges

Sharing or transferring Program benefits
If Rare Beauty determines that a Member has violated these Program Terms, Rare Beauty may:

Suspend or terminate membership

Cancel pending orders

Restrict future purchases

Remove access to Program benefits
7. Account Responsibility
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Members are responsible for all activity conducted under their account.
If a Member believes their account has been compromised, they must notify Rare Beauty immediately.
Rare Beauty is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized account use.
8. Membership Duration and Renewal
Rare Beauty may require Members to periodically renew their Program membership or verify continued eligibility.
Rare Beauty may request updated documentation at any time.
Failure to provide requested verification may result in suspension or termination of membership.
9. Program Changes or Termination
Rare Beauty reserves the right to:

Modify these Program Terms

Change Program benefits or discount levels

Suspend or discontinue the Program at any time
Updated Program Terms will become effective upon posting to the Rare Beauty website.
Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rare Beauty and its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

Participation in the Program

Technical issues affecting Program access

Order cancellations or benefit changes
Program benefits are provided “as available” and “as offered.”
11. Governing Law
These Program Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the governing law provisions outlined in Rare Beauty’s Terms of Service.
